Telemetry Cohorts
Repeat Play
Pseudonymous uploader cohorts show whether playtests come from returning hosts without exposing player identities.
UPDATED
Questions Answered
- Measure whether hosts return for additional runs.
- Separate first-run completion from repeat-run completion.
- Check whether cohort behavior changes across builds or party sizes.
How To Interpret
- Host scope:A linked identity represents the Steam uploader/host. In solo runs that is the player; multiplayer runs do not identify every participant.
- Privacy boundary:The dashboard receives aggregate cohort counts only. The server-side HMAC identity is never displayed.
Thresholds & Warnings
- Runs uploaded without Steam authentication remain valid but are not included in linked-host metrics.
